Member States will ensure that a ‘second generation’ of points of single contact will function as fully fledged eGovernment centres beyond the requirements and areas covered by the Services Directive.

Can all the administrative processes be done through the Point of Single Contact? Yes Electronic full case handling is possible in the scope of applictation of the Service Directive.
Does the PSC facilitate cross-border provision of services? Yes Online completion of procedures is possible for foreign users (no e-Signature and no e-ID are requested). In the implementation report of the Commission of 8 June 2012 Austria is mentioned as best performer regarding e-procedures.
