Action 34 in Netherlands flag Netherlands

Member States should have aligned their national interoperability frameworks to the EIF.

Indicator Status Evidence
Do you have a National Interoperability Framework? Yes The Netherlands has put in place a National Interoperability Framework, called Nederlandse Overheid Referentie Architectuur (NORA). Since 2012 the NORA has been “digitalized” and the actual version is published under Creative Commons licenses. See: www.NORAonline.nl ; Further development of the NORA follows a public consultation procedure.
Have you aligned your national interoperability frameworks with the European Interoperability Framework? Yes The National Interoperability Framework is nearly full-aligned (67 out of 68 score) with the European Interoperability Framework.
Does your National Interoperability Framework take into account the European dimension of public service delivery? Yes NORA stresses the importance of public services and the interaction between public administrations in different countries. To support this we have set up an International paragraph, which is still mainly focussed on European Member States. See: http://noraonline.nl/wiki/Architectuur_internationaal . Specific attention is paid to the many actors and programmes of the EU. See:  http://noraonline.nl/wiki/Actoren_en_programma%27s_EU
