The take-up of online public services for citizens in Austria has increased with respect to 2010 at 57% (2015 data), that is 9 pp above the EU28 average (46%). On the converse usage of eGovernment services by enterprises greatly increases from 75% to 92% (in 2013) above the EU28 average (88%).

Action 29: The Commission will organise with Member States the sharing of experiences on the implementation of the 'once-only' registration principle and, on electronic procedures and communications having become a dominant channel for delivering eGovernment services, conduct a cost-benefit analysis and design a roadmap for further implementation.

Action 31: Member States should develop and agree indicators and evaluation procedures for measuring the reduction of the carbon footprint of their administrations as a result of eGovernment services.
